Disney on a Rainy Day

Good Evening! Our Rainy Splash Mountain Ride - 2006 This week in honor of the rain we are getting in Utah - the Pros and Cons of going to Disney on a Rainy Day! (Which, funny enough, is my favorite Disneyland weather!) If you ever find yourself waking up in your hotel room to gloomy rain-clouds, do not despair! While there can be downsides to an outdoor theme park in wet weather, there are definitely ways to make the most of any rainy day. To ensure that you are properly warned (and in the spirit of ending on a good note) we'll start with this short list of "cons"! It can get chilly! While California is usually filled with warm coastal air, it doesn't mean it never gets cold! Several rainstorms I've been caught in have been in the summer and stay around 70 degrees, which isn't too bad, but when you are wet it can feel a lot colder - especially in the early morning or later in the evening.  When it rains hard enough, you potentially walk around the ...

Happy Monday & Happy Mothers' Day! I hope you all enjoyed your weekend & spending time with your families. Follow these four simple steps below to get the most out of your Disney Dining. Write down all of the restaurants you want to eat ...

Happy Monday Afternoon! Disneyland is the Happiest Place on Earth for all ages! As you may know, my specialty is helping plan family vacations for people of all ages! So, without further ado, here are some helpful tips for Disney with little kids! 2000 - Our family's first trip! The first thing you will want to pin down if you are traveling with toddlers and babies is the location of the Baby Care Centers! There is one in each park. Disneyland's is at the end of Main Street, U.S.A. on the east side next to the Photo center. California Adventure's is in the Pacific Wharf area next to the Ghirardelli Soda Fountain and Chocolate Shop. The Baby Care Center offers a variety of amenities such as feeding rooms, high chairs, a sitting area with...

Good Afternoon!! First off - a huge shout out to my readers in the USA, Germany, Philippines, Peru, AND Australia!!! It is so exciting for me to be sharing my love for Disney Parks all around the WORLD! Thank you for your support (:  This week's post actually comes straight out of my travel guide! I want to share some of the best money saving tips that I have picked up over the years that can really help out when you are trying to do Disney on a budget! Let's get started! 1. Don't buy bottled water in the parks! It can be pricey to buy bottled water in the parks - at the snack carts it's $3.75 per bottle! There are several other options you have when it comes to water. The first is going to a local grocery store (Target is just down the street) and buying a case of waters to bring into the park with you. It is a lot cheaper to do it this way than buying that many in the park! You can also bring in a water bottle and fill it at any water fountain. If you go into t...
