Good Evening!

Beautiful Hidden Mickey (Picture taken by my Aunt Carla). Can you figure out where this one is hidden??

 Since people seemed to like the last photo scavenger hunt we posted, I decided to make one for Disney WORLD! I plan to try this out as well during my trip in October, and I'll post some pictures when I get back! Have fun!

DISNEY WORLD PHOTO SCAVENGER HUNT 2018

  1. Get pictures of at least 3 kinds of Mickey shaped foods! - 5 pts each
  2. Spot 3 Hidden Mickey's - 10 pts each
  3. Find Madame Leota's gravestone - 5 pts
  4. Get a picture of three different castles! - 15 pts
  5. Take a picture of three rides outside of Magic Kingdom that you can also find in Disneyland! - 10 pts per photo
  6. Take a picture of CONSTRUCTION in the parks! - 5 pts
  7. Find four different animals on the Tree of Life! - 5 pts each
  8. Find three rides in Magic Kingdom that CAN'T be found in Disneyland - 5 pts per picture
  9. Take a picture of a pirate chess game - 5 pts
  10. Take a picture with at least 4 different characters - 10 pts each
  11. Strike the same pose on all rides that take your picture (snag a picture of the screen at the end) - 10 pts per ride (110 points total!)

  15. Take a picture with a wooden Sea King! - 10 pts
  16. Take a picture with magic lanterns! - 10 pts
  17. You've been eaten by a shark! Take a picture in Bruce's mouth! - 10 pts
  18. A Whale too?! Take a picture inside Monstro's Mouth! - 10 pts
  19. Take a picture at a drive-in movie! - 10 pts
  20. Take a picture of a Disney World proposal - 100 pts

Best Times to Ride the Busy Rides

Good Evening (a day late) ! As summer gets into full swing at the Disneyland Resort and the crowds start to multiply, it might be good to have an idea of the best times to ride the busiest rides. Some lines you can't avoid, but here are some pointers for avoiding a few of the longer ones! (In case you missed it: read last week's post about fun things to do in the Disneyland area here !!) Time of Day Something very important to remember is that the closer to the middle of the day it gets, the hotter it is. If you are going to ride a busy ride and the line is mostly outdoors (Fantasyland, Cars Land, Space Mountain, Splash Mountain, Matterhorn, Big Thunder Mountain etc.), consider riding earlier in the morning or towards the evening when it starts to cool off again. This may not mean a shorter wait, but it does mean you won't overheat! Riding Peter Pan's Flight at night might not get you a shorter wait time, but it will mean not overheating in the hot Summer su

A little about me, I am a Disney Parks fanatic! I have been to Disneyland 23 times since I was 5 years old, so I have picked up a lot of tips and tricks when it comes to family vacation planning.
